| Message: | The trunk release was a little confusing. there is a hole under the rear license plate, and in my car, peered in with a flashlight, I stuck in a screwdriver and pushed the latch to the left (toward the passenger side) and the trunk released. I did not catch this on the first try. I actually bent it forward first, and attempted to pull it down. Pulled the plug wires, nice they are labeled, and serious corrosion under all of them, #4 was just sitting in there, no click when pulled out and #5,6,7 have rust and corrosion. I blew everything out and lots of particles flew, sprayed in WD40, then blew it out, then bought some Blaster PB, sprayed and then filled the plug bosses with Marvel Mystery Oil (OK, I am old and this is what we used in the 70's). Will let sit overnight and attempt to pull the plugs in the am. 1990 750iL 1991 850iA 1973 3.0CS | ||||
