I plan to get a fairly new Quattroporte (07 or 08 model) from the used car market, but heard from some distant friends in the USA that Maseratis have mechanical and electronic problems and are not that reliable. I knew that was a fact for Maserati's (and for that matter, most Italian cars!) about a decade ago, but dont know if any of you have frustrated car problems during your ownership. Appreciate very much your valuable experience and comment. Trying to beocme a Maserati owner but also being cautious....'
