You should double check with Jaguar, but I would think that as long as you can show proof of proper oil and filter changes at required intervals you should be okay. The guy who has serviced our Hondas for years has done the oil changes on my '98 XK8 using Jaguar filters and drain plug washers from WorldPac. I wouldn't take Sophia to JiffyLube, but I would trust this guy implicitly. It costs me about $32 and my original wipers still work fine. And I live in western Washington state and drive the car year round.

I recently bought a '99 XK8. The dealer tells me it is due for an oil service and quoted ***$350*** for not much more than a $30 Jiffy Lube job. Yes, I do get new wiper blades with that, but who cares when you live in CA.

Can anyone tell me if there are any issues with getting an oil change anywhere other than with the dealer? Are there any warranty issues? $350 is pretty steep every 5000 miles.
