Correct, Arden, Paramount and ourselves remove the Bumpers on the XK8/R's to fit a flat grille, the plastic cover simply pries off then you have to drill out the Rivets top and bottom that hold the structural Bumper in place, this is to install a flat Grille, otherwise it's the Factory 3-Piece...

The Bumpers do protect the front end during a minor shunt though.
