Last month at the Jaguar auction in CA, 10 99 XK8 conv. were sold. The highest price was $42750 for a red with 14K miles and the lowest was $37500 for a BRG with 41K miles. This is a dealers only auction. Did the car sell for $34100? There is something wrong with that picture.

Did anyone see the 99 XK8 Conv on ebay today, w/only 13k miles and the high bid was $34,100? What a wake up call for me! I've a similar car that I need $42k for. Looks like a new car is a pipe dream for me right now. What happened to the market?
Seems that when I want to buy, so does everyone else, and when I want to sell, etc., etc.
