Antenna replacement (archive)

Anyone have any luck replacing the XK8 antenna with a stub antenna. While quite minor, I think the antenna takes away from the great clean lines of the car and sticks up too high. I would love to put on a tiny stub antenna such as on the new Mercedes SL.

Any ideas?
