That's true. In the early 90's the quality improved dramatically, with each year starting in 1990 getting better and better. In 1995 they really had it down and the cars have still gotten more reliable since then. In fact, Jaguar ranks very well in the JD Power Associates ratings for reliability and quality.

I would never buy a 1988 or 1989 Jaguar though. Nothing but problems.
