I have just changed from Pirelli's to Bridgestone Potenza S-03 on my XKR (245x18 front, 255x18 rear). The main reason was the noise and bad performance in the wet, as i had the pirelli's just for a short time i do not know that much about the wear. The Bridgestone's are definitly the best tires i have ever driven with, and my driving style would be 'not agressive', though sometimes i let the cat go free...
