The 97-2000s have the key hole as part of the "XK8" lettering on the side of the rear fender but the 2001+ models have this moved to the chrome strip (middle of the strip, where the logo is - it's pretty well hidden).

Please let us know what the dealer says - I'm very interested in "upgrading" to the chrome as well but haven't talked to my dealer yet. Curious as to cost...
