I appreciate your response; however, take it from someone who actually owned a 1985ZX for 13 years and 135k miles; it is not crap. Yes it is a more affordable, mass produced sports car, but I had few problems with the car in all the years I owned it, and thoroughly enjoyed driving it. In fact, let's face it, Japanese cars are known for their quality, whether one wishes to acknowledge it or not.

I had been thinking for months of getting a used XK8. But as a former 300ZX driver with a stick, I am now thinking of getting the new 2003 Nissan 350Z with the stick I so desire, and for less money than a used XK8. I was wondering what some of the XK8 forum participants thought of it.
