Hi,
I have an XK8 wind deflector for sale. You can email me for info if you are interested. This deflector does not require drilling into leather or modifications of any sort. It is removable and installable at will without tools. I think it fits in the trunk too. It also has a key and actually locks into place (helps prevent theft). As far as wind deflecting, I use one on my BMW 3 series convertible and it works great, especially at highway speeds. I smoke, and I can actually drive with the ashtray open now, and ashes dont blow all over my car. You can tell your wife that it stops your hair from blowing forward into your face too.
Thanks,
Phil
Still looking for any info from anyone who might have tried any of the "wind deflectors" that mount behind the seats of the xk8's. They all seem very expensive so I would like to know if it would be worth the investment. I would also like to find out about there mountings. It seems to me that for long rides at highway speeds it might be worth a try. My wife would also like to know if it saves your hair-do?
Thanks for any opinions, Robert
