Anyone else have a squeaky seat? My driver seat makes a squeaking sound when I move laterally. The noise is actually in the seat, not from it rubbing against something. Sounds like springs. Haven't been to the dealer yet, but I am guessing they'd have to replace the seat to fix it and won't be too happy/quick to do that.
I'll second the squeaky seat and raise you with a lower seat cushion that crackles. Sounds like the heating elements are becoming detached from the liner. The squeak seems to be coming from the point where the seat back attaches to the bottom cushion. I haven't appraoched the dealer about this problem yet. I expect they'll have some excuse not to fix the squeak or the crackle.

Thanks for cushioning (pun intended) my problem by joining the misery and doing so with good humor. Keep me posted on your dealer response and I'll do the same (hoping to visit within 2 weeks). Don't know when you started hearing it, but my '98 has just 16k on it. "Travis"... my favorite movie character name of all time.
