Electrical accessory supply sockets - 98 XK8 conv. (archive)

Page 84 of the care manual say there are electrical accessory supply sockets behind the glove box and in the luggage compartment clipped near the battery. Has anyone ever found them and, if so, what do they look like and exactly where did you find them? I have not been able to do so.
