There is a limit switch that needs to be reset (archive)

They get mixed up sometimes. With door shut, press and hold the down button until about 5 seconds after the window goes all the way down -- you'll hear a click as the switch limiter is set. Now press up, and wait for the click once it goes all the way up after a few seconds. Now the window should work properly. Remember this, because sometimes if you hold the switch too long, or sometimes for no apparent reason, the limit settings get mixed up.
