... I'm used to it. That's why I try to punctuate any potentially "mean" sounding things with smiley faces; kind of a girly-thing, but then again, you know what they say, "if girls ruled the world..."

So, that aside... I like the dual amp thing: very trick. So, with L and R amps, are you going to L and R subs? You could run lower resistence per speaker than if you ran both off the same amp... the more I think about that setup, the sweeter it becomes. You could control the gain from L & R. Very interesting.

Whatever speaker you go with, be sure to check with the manufacturer to determine the necassary box size. 15"s just seem like they are going to require more space than the trunk has to offer; both as a chamber and for the box.

Maybe a nice, high-end 10" (non-voice-coil) in a single box with clean 225w amp running at 1 ohm. Set the X at 100-, try doing a 1.00 reflex. Put this to a dedicated, NF channel. Then, do a discrete open air voice-coil 8" with it's own amp somewhere in the cabin to fill in. X it between 80 through 100. Now, just play with the gain between the cabin and the trunk bass speakers to get it to "fill in".

Just an idea... you think it will de too "tight"?

Justin
