I know EXACTLY what you are talking about! I had the same problem last year and it took 5 trips to the dealership to get it resolved. It is a squeek/creaking sound that comes from the top seal when you go ever bumps or dips in the road. Mine sound came from more of the center of the top seal.

The dealer had to replace the entire top seal plate and mechanism to solve the problem. I had mine done under warranty. MAKE SURE THEY DO THAT TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. At first the dealer/s tried to say it was my imagination, but it noise just got worse and there was no way around it. They tried everything, short of replacing it, including tightening the sway bars.

Trust me, I know the noise.... it is just audible enough to be real annoying. Good luck!
