XK8-2001 differential noise (archive)

sudden lowering of the accelerator at low spped will produce a noise coming from the differential (at 6000 miles). The Jaguar dealer in Aachen, Germany told me, that this noise is not unusual for this car and changing the differential will only help for a very short time.

I drove Audi A8 before and never encountered a noise coming from the differential when lowering the accelerator. Are their other XK 8 driver who can confirm the statement of my Jaguar dealer.
