I've put a lot of highway miles on mine with the top down and love it the way it is. I usually wear a cap to avoid sunburned scalp (hair is not as thick as it once was). Buy your wife a nice scarf instead.

Still looking for any info from anyone who might have tried any of the "wind deflectors" that mount behind the seats of the xk8's. They all seem very expensive so I would like to know if it would be worth the investment. I would also like to find out about there mountings. It seems to me that for long rides at highway speeds it might be worth a try. My wife would also like to know if it saves your hair-do?
