Hello,

I have a 97 coupe and have a problem with the auto steering column tilt away feature. The column goes up and in when exiting, but only goes out (not down) when I get back into the car.

Any suggestions to fix this problem?? Other than this small problem, I love the car. Thanks in advance.


There are two separate motors - one for tilt and one for reach. I've had both replaced on my '98. There is also a switch in the column that has been replaced. I suspect the switch has been the main culprit as the problem has been intermittent.
