Since the warranty I on my car now is from Jaguar, as part of their used car "Select" series, I'd like to know whether they distinguish that 6 year warranty that started with the day the car was first sold, from the default 4 year warranty.

I'll post a note when I get clarification from them, for others who may be in the same position I am.

It must be the original new car warranty. I don't believe any extensions are allowed to this period.
