Bought it new in 2000. It knows how to drive itself to the service dept. now. So many problems, impossible to list them. All things electrical (windows, seats, top, seat heaters, seat consoles popping out, both interior and exterior lights, trunk)have failed and continue to fail. Replaced water pump, thermostat, brakes (squeels like a trash truck), Doors sag, rubber coming off. Much more. Folks, this car has been babied by my wife. Only 18,000 miles. Do yourself a favor. Buy a Yugo. More reliable.

I think you should replace your wife. That may be the problem(j/k). Man, to be frank with you, you never know how women treat their cars. You probably baby her, but does she really baby her car. The pieces are falling off!!! She doesnt seem like a person that is really taking care of her car. In any case you always have:

WARRANTEE!!!

Leave it at the jaguar dealers until they replace everything.

If your car is a 2000 then you should have warranty and it should include a rental car. I have a 97 with no problems. More reliable than german cars. My audi tt has had the transmission replaced at 3000 miles. I dont mind the repairs as long as they give me a way to move my ass.

Man, dont come here and tell us third person complaints when you really dont know how she drives. From what i hear, she is not light footed. When the brakes squeels, it means that you have to replace the brake pads and at 18000 miles she is a very heavy footed driver. She probably is moving the seat all the time, takes the top down every minute and pokes all the rubbers out of it. Buy her a truck, not a fine piece of luxury machinery.
