Every winter my top stops working and I have to have the hydraulic fluid changed. Anyone else having a similiar problem?

I had problems with my '98. The TYPE of hydraulic fluid seemed to be the problem. The earlier type would get gummy. The dealer finally completely flushed out the system, replaced the latching mechanism in the top of the windshield, and put in a newer type of fluid that supposedly works better and doesn't get gummy.
