The window up and down movement has a learned maximum limit position. When you disconnect the battery, it forgets this setting. To reset the window limit memory: With the door closed and the ignition on, press and hold the window down button, and keep it held for 5 to 10 seconds after the window has gone completely down. You can hear a click if you listen carefully after this time. This sets the down limit. Then press the up button and keep it held for 5 to 10 seconds, or until you hear the click to set the up memory. After performing this procedure, the windows should work normally, and open the correct small distance when opening the door. hope this helps.
