What saved my life was my back guard. It was the difference from walking away only needing chin reconstruction and not walking... potentially not breathing. Every ride I wore full race gear.
My bike:
1. 1993 Engine in a 1996 GSX-R W frame.
2. Stage 3 Jet.
3. Race-Only D&D full-pipe.
4. 150 mph sprockets.
5. Welded sub-frame.
6. Race-only suspension (2" drop).
7. Custom forks (dampening).
8. Custom Swing Arms.
9. Zero Gravity screen.
10. Second Look skins.
1/4-mile in 8.8 seconds at 146mph: w/wheelie bars at Cecil County dragway.
I have a friend in the Baltimore area with some worked VW's... there is a certain park & ride ramp that has seen some serious speed testing. ;-)
