Justin, I think this happened for 2 reasons:

1) When I put the vacuum line back on it wasn't nearly as snug as I felt it should be
2) The original problem happened when I pressed the "Cruise Set (+)" button on the steering wheel immediately after pressing the "Cruise Resume" button. You see, I pressed Resume but meant to press the Set button so the car was accelerating when I pressed the Set button. I think the system may have burped and knocked the vacuum line off.

I have not gotten up enough nerve to try and brake it again, because at least now the car is fine.

Jeff

... thanks for the follow-up for those who might experience the same problem in the future. Any idea what caused the vacuum line to disconnect in the first place?

Justin
