I've got a 98 XK8 coupe that goes out of warranty this June. I've had it for the last 4K miles (It's got 22K on it, now), and haven't had any problems other than inconsistent behavior from the steering wheel position motor/memory.
But I know there are a few problem areas with this model, and I'd like to put together a list of things to check before Jaguar stops picking up the tab for the repairs. I remember a discussion about cylinder lining wear, and front bearings also seem to be tricky. But there's still not a search function, here, so...
Does anyone have some suggestions for this list?
