New XK owner - Heavy sterring ???...help.... (archive)

Hi,

I've just bought a 98 XK Coupe with 6,000 miles on the clock.

I've been driving it daily for a week and I've started to notice that the steering has become very, very, heavy when breaking - almost like the power steering is off.

At first I thought I had a slow puncture, but the tires are fine.

Any idea's ?
