You can always buy a warranty for the Xk8, especially at that mileage. I assume it is an Xk8 Coupe? Although the comparison is already apples to oranges, I would think comparing a convertible to a 4-door sedan would be unmentionable.

All the same, I would suggest buying the Xk8. It has lready depreciated and offers a greater level of sophistication than the Contour/Mondeo.

If you are looking for something sporty, but like the X-type body, you might look into the Contour SVT... pretty trick little car.
