Well, the specs say that the BMW 3.0I Z3 Coupe will do 0-60 in 5.9 and the XK8 coupe is, I beleive 0-60 in 6.7. The XKR will do 0-60 in 5.4. Now in comparison the Corvette C5 (automatic) will do 0-60 in 4.9 and costs about 30K less than a Jag. But then again the Vette isn't a Jag and for that matter neither is the BMW. Dollar for dollar, and in most cases less dollars, there are many other 'sports' cars out there that will out run a Jag. But in my opinion they don't have the style and class of a Jag...but of course I'm biased...I own one.
