Check through the archives of this board for some information on wheel vibration. I believe some others have experienced this (with 18" rather than 20" wheels, however) and found it to be bad tires (out of round).

I would think that your shop wouldn't replace the ECU unless they really thought it would help--it certainly would be cheaper for them to blame the problem on the tire manufacturer.
