I had a new XK8 delivered on January 1 2001 and although I love the car, I have a problem with vibation
in the 60 - 80 mph range. The wheels have been re-balanced 3 times and the car has been back to the dealer 3 times with no significant improvement. I feel the vibration is from the rear, but the steering wheel shakes slightly under deceleration.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

It sounds like your driveshaft may be out of balance. But before you take the shaft off, Have them rotate your wheels and see if the vibration moves. You may have a bent wheel.
