I never drove the XK8 but often drove my father's XJ8 which has teh same drivetrain as the XK8. the difference is huge in power and acceleration.

Dont' remeber the 1/4 mile and 0-60 for the XK8 but I recall at least 1 sec 1/2 diff on 0-60 which is substantial.
