I just found this forum out of pure curiosity, after seeing an xk8.net email address on Jag Lovers... From looking at some of the messages, I understand that MG Racing in Atlanta imports Arden products ? is that right ?

I am extremely intersted in the 20" wheels, lower suspension and Brembo brakes that Jaguar is selling as the R package in the UK but it's not avaialable here.

Does anyone have any experience with Arden products / MG Racing ? It's certainly an alternative to the R options.

I got my XKR Coupe, Platinum, in late november one of the first ones the dealer got and have already put 10k miles on it. I actually just got the car back from the 10k service this morning, which turned a but expen$ive because of the need for new tires, and new front pads... The front rotors were warped causing a vibration on high speed braking and that was under warranty.

BTW, I run the car ar local speedtrials ( like an autocross with no slalom which turns the course into a 3/4 miles road course where we do sequences of multiple laps ) and it draw a lot of attentions from C5, BMWs, drivers, some of them are having a hard time keeping up...

First of all congratulations to use your car in speedtrials event,not really the usual car for that.
Arden wheels Design III for the XK8 are 10x20
for the front and 11x20 for the rear specifically made for the Arden A-type conversion
they will not fit a stock car unleast after the modification of the front and rear fenders.20 inch wheel to be able to fit w/out mods will be soon available.
Alternativly are available the Design III in 19
inch 8,5x19 in front =$950.00 each,reccomended tires 255/40-19
10x19 rear=$995.00each,recc.tires 295/35-19
For what concerne suspension;
-Arden lowering kit;Arden custom springs for combination with standard shochs $890.00
-Arden sport suspension,Arden custom springs and Arden Bilstein shocks $2.400.00
For the brakes;
-Arden high performance brake system
Complete brake system made from wear resistant high strength material.
Consist of;
-Front axxle;2 six-piston fixed calipers brakes,2 ventilated and slotted brake discs,370 mm
-Rear axle;2 four piston fixed caliper brakes,2 ventilated and slotted brake discs,340 mm
-All adapters and steelflex brake lines $8.600.00
For the XKR is available also a fully stainless steel Sport muffler with oval shaped chrome tailpipes 85x120 mm at $1.650.00
