Took a Spin at my Local Jag Dealer....bad news... (archive)

While I was test driving a XJR, I was talking with my sales guy who informed me that the dealer recieved notice that Jaguar has dropped the F-Type from it's production schedule. Seems that the brass at Jaguar don't feel that the F-Type would be able to carry it's own weight with the company, and hence, dropped it.

I really hope that Jaguar will re-think that position. The F-Type would fill a void in the Jaguar Line-up, and allow the company to further grow. Looks like we'll have to settle for the 1:18 scale Die-Cast models.
