I spoke with a Mrs.Lidia Hayley, Public Relations at Jaguar U.K today and she confirmed that the F-Type had been "deferred" but for how long she could not say. She advised me to send an e-mail to the Director of U.K operations at Jaguar who is called Mr.Harkin. His e-mail address is dharkin1@Jaguar.com

I would suggest that all customers who have placed deposits for the F-Type or customers interested in buying the F-Type to send an e-mail to Mr.Harkin and expressing their concern about this turn of events.

I for one am very dissapointed as I would have now purchased a different car had I been aware that jaguar were not serious about the launch of the F-Type in 2004/2005. Meanwhile, my deposit of £500.00 has been sitting with the dealer Dutton Forshaw in the U.K for 2 years without any intrest and nobody know when if at all the F-type will be produced and by the sounds of it, it may be shelved all together. A sad state of affairs if you ask me and only damaging to the reputation and image of Jaguar in the international market place! I wonder if Jaguar will actually give a damn about all this though, lets wait and see !!
