Does anyone know how the roof construction in the F-type will look like? Thanks to the beatiful curves on the rear and the mid-ship engine, it seems unlikely that there will be an automatic hardtop a'la Mercedes SLK.

The Porsche Boxster does not even have a glass rear window because of lack of space, due to its mid engine layout. If Jaguar do go with the mid engine layout they would not only have to solve this packaging problem, but also engine cooling issues, because of the roof folding over the engine. So a SLK type roof I suspect would be totally out of the question, or very impressive if they could pull it off!

What do you think the chances of the car being offered in Coupe form are? I have only ever seen pics of proposed convertibles. Both the E-type and XK8 are offered as Coupe or Convertible.
