i haven't read anything in the UK auto press about the halting of the project. It doesn't seem feasible since Jagaur have had a record sales year this year.
Does it give a target price for the stock car and any mention of what roof design itmay be ie folding steel like slk or traditional fabric.

No mention of roof. The only mention of price of the base car was: "It will be head-on with the Boxster in performance, price, everything" in the words of Wolfgang Reitzle. I would imagine about $40k for 2.5L and $45k for 3.0L.
