I've never understood why they don't use the existing X-Type set up i.e. front engine four wheel drive. This would give the car the edge over the Boxster and SLK in that it's four wheel drive and the edge over the TT in that it would be a V6. It would also reduce development costs….Still what do I know !!!!

This would make a lot of sense. I just hope that they maintain the concept that this will finally be the successor to the XKE, which the XJS certainly was not.
