If true, I have to say I'd be somewhat bummed. Might as well stay with my Porsche Boxster.

From Latest autocar issue (19/26 December):-

The F has been changed to a harder-edged,faster and more driver-orientated car then the pretty roadster which broke cover at Detroit 2 years ago.

The car will be a tranverse mid-engined layout and a unique aluminium spaceframe chassis.
It is predicted to go on sale in 2005, though i've heard late 2004 quoted as well in the same magazine.The car will come witha 3.0 litre 240bhp V6 engine with 6 speed manaul gearbox at launch with the supercharged 330-350bhp a year later.
The car will be circa £30k when it goes on sale.

I'm sorry i can't scan the new images in of the F type but it looks more purposeful and aggresive compared to the concept.

If any of you get the chance to buy the magazine it would be worth it as it is a 3 page spread.
