Hey guys,
I'm a long time "boarder" at bimmer.org and since the 1st I've been keeping up with the Jaguar stuff going on over here. I'm a rather devoted BMW guy (to my car at least) but these Jags look really nice! So, what's the estimated info on the F-Type? Is it to be built on the same platform as the XK8/R? What's the estimated price range? Performance range? Convertible or open top racer?
Forgive me if these questions are old but I'm not too familiar with the Jaguar marque. I did however enjoy a nice test drive in a Supercharged convertible a couple months ago...I was amazed the guy let me drive it. Come to think of it I think that was an XKR...370hp I recall. I've forgotten the specifics, I drove it less than a mile. I remember the market value mark-up was pretty big though...
