The faster you drive the more paint chips you will get. The faster you drive the more you grin, and the happier you are. Soon you'll have so many paint chips an extra scratch here or there won't mean anything and you'll have plenty of grins. So SPEED UP!
...you can't let them ruin your life. Just know that there are indeed inconsiderate people out there, but your happiness should not be affected to any great degree by then. Think about it this way--when you are having fun driving your car with a big grin on your face, you can't even see that mark on the door outside. The first ding or scratch is always the worst one.
