I recently just picked up my new X-Type and realized 2 days later that it had a 2-inch gash in the rear drivers side wheel. When I took it back to the dealer they accused me off doing it and that something probably flew up and put the gash in the tire. They told me that they have four people prep the car before I get it and that someone would have seen it. The funny thing is that the manager came out and didn't even see it until I pointed it out to him. All they said they could do for me was switch that bad tire witht the spare in the trunk. I argued with them for 10 minutes without getting anywhere and finally told them to just change the tire with the spare. Then they tell me that no one is there from the service department to do it now that I would have to come during the week. I know that I didn't hit anything because I would have heard or felt it and I think its a bunch of BS that they are blaming me and telling me that I probably didn't realize it(like I'm alittle boy or something)!!! I feel like they kissed my @ss to get me to buy the car and now that I have it they don't want to go out of their way to do anything for me...
