Dangerous Trunk!!! (archive)

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but the other day I was putting something in my trunk when I looked and had a big gash on my arm!!! I looked in the trunk and there are three spots on the top of the trunk right on top near the opening. They are horseshoe shaped and are really sharp. I don't know if there is supposed to be a cover on them or not but I was just curious if anyone else has run across this problem??
