I agree but sometimes when you travel to the city like I do you can't always hear the door lock and I don't feel like putting my ear to the door or look in the window to see if its locked. Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers but I was just inquiring.

Why in the world would anyone want their car to beep when it locks and unlocks? Do you enjoy annoying every female in the parking lot every time you get out of or in to your car? Cars should not "beep" unless you are needed to prod the sleeping driver in front of you, or if a car next to you is about to hit you. Don't push that button twice, it's just plain annoying to everyone within earshot of your car!

If you listen closely, the locking mechanism is noisy enough to hear without the horn sounding!

I was just curious if anyone knew how to make the alarm audible for when you turn the alarm off and on. The dealer told me that if you hit the lock button twice it will beep to lock but it doesn't stay that way. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the beep permanent for locking and unlocking the car. Thanks for you help.
