(X) I have just had my X Sport speakers upgraded from the standard paper coned Philips crap, to the top of the range Kenwood dual mags. The total cost was under £450, inc fitting. No extra amp or subwoofty required actually! Frankly I could not seriously justify paying over £1,000 to Jaguar for the ICE upgrade, as I already have the in dash CD (though I suppose it would be nice to have a 6 disc changer?). I borrowed a courtesy X with the ICE upgrade during the first 1000 mile checkup, and I can honestly say that in my (now updated) car the sound is clearer and the bass is comparable. The details are as follows:

Front - KFC PSR71P (inc tweaters + crossover modules) - cost approx £140
Rear - KFC PSR177C - cost approx £120
Replacement inserts for doors - cost approx £45
Plus 3-4 hours labour.
