I just got my car back today after it was in the shop all week. They changed the shifter assembly as the reverse signal was staying on even in drive position.
The replaced the trun signal switch as it was not operating.
I told them about the trunk and they installed updated latch per bulliten.
Trunk Latch Part No: JLM-021700-K

I highly suggest everyone change this latch as it is soooo much quieter and easier now.

I would have never known about that had it not been for this board. Thanks everyone.
