My dealer did this for me at no charge. The way it works is after you lock the car with the remote, you hold down the lock button on the remote for a few seconds and release. Anything that's open will close, windows & sunroof.

Have you had the global closing programmed? I requested that it be done when I brought it to the dealer for some minor things but I'm not sure they did it. My wife drives the car and I have not checked out all the bells and whistles. How is the globel close supposed to operate with the remote? Thanks.


Unfortunately, no. The only option re reprograming the remote is global closing.


When I had an S-Type as a loaner, it had a great feature. If you held the unlock button on the remote, all the windows and the sun roof opened. Fantastic when your walking to the car and it's 99 degrees outside.
Does anyone know if this feature can be programmed in the X-Type?
