X-Type 3.0 max in gear speeds (archive)

I'm pretty close to buying a 3.0 X-Type Manual and was just wondering what the max speeds in each gear are ? My current car just about manages 60mph in 2nd and 90 in 3rd and i am hoping the x-type will improve on that. Can't seem to find the info I need anywhere on the net.
