I no longer can stand to visit this site. The rancor displayed by the visitors to this site has forced me to remove this site from my bookmarks. I have 10,000 miles on my X-Type and love it. I have not had any major problems. I did have a cracked windscreen, from road debris, but Jaguar replaced it at no charge. I truley enjoy driving this vehicle, not to impress anyone, nor to act superior, but for the simple fact it's fun and comfortable. Please do not encourage or even read and respond to the little minded people who's lives are so pathetic in real life, they need to come here faceless and anonymous, and act tough and twist truths and make lies to make up for something lacking in their psyche. They truly get off on playing people like puppets, and you guys are letting them. To those people who feel the need to bash the X-Type, and you know who you are, try to get some help. There are forums to help, "Battered men's help page", or maybe "Batteredmen.com". Don't be afraid, they can help.
So in parting, I say thank you to the X-Type owners, I learned from your posts. I just wish all of you could have had my X-Type. It is perfect. No complaints, except the lack of aftermarket sterio equipment. Great luck to you all.

It's too bad you are leaving because of a troll because then, he gets his pathetic little way. I've found the site to be great. My X-Type has been fine. It had only one problem with the trunk inner opening mechanism (fix provided courtesy of this website). (I even think the trunk problem is acceptable taking into consideration some local deaths of children who climbed into trunks, locked them, couldn't get out, and died of the heat.) Also, the discussion of aftermarket products on the website has been good. Maybe you should come back a little later when the troll has gotten a life.
