Thank you for a voice of reason (even if it is from a perhaps reformed? troll:>)). I believe that the core of owners here are rational, save for the obvious few. It is even more apparent that the posts, by you and others were meant either to provoke those rabid, irrational few. (Which leads me to question if those few are not intentionally posting provocative posts.)
Quite honestly, I would rather have an open and honest debate about many or all of the worlds finest autmobile marques, which is probably possible, than have it devolve into simply trying to bait each other.
One thing that can be said about post people who buy a specialty marque is that they are knowledgeable about cars in general and, at least speaking for myself can debate the relative merits of many brands and models. That would certainly be more enjoyable that calling each other jerks for driving the cars we chose to drive.
I agree, but its more than just that. Unfortunately, some people are so provocative that they bring it upon themselves. Quite frankly, some of these idiotic posts are on the same level of the posts of the trolls. If people wouldn't say such stupid things, the trolls would be rendered inconsequential, subject only to being ignored. Otherwise, what you see is what we'll get.
I agree 100%. More then bashing the X-type, I just felt compelled to respond to some of the idiots who post here with these delusions of superiority : SEPT-01-X-TYPE-OWNER is culprit #1.
If there was a larger core group of rational X-type owners on this board, then idiots like SEPT-01-X-TYPE-OWNER and trolls like myself would fall to the wayside. In the meantime, the last 48 hours have gotten a bit out of control, and I apologize to the folks here that deserve better.
